Acerca Fernando Cantisano
Fernando Cantisano began his professional career at Pricewaterhouse in the Dominican Republic in 1990 as a Business Consultant. In 1993, he moved to Puerto Rico to pursue a master’s degree in Finance, and simultaneously ran a small business while completing his studies.
In 1995, he returned to the Dominican Republic and rejoined Pricewaterhouse Coopers, as a senior advisor in the tax area, until, at the end of 1996, he joined the Industrial Sector, Polyplas Dominicana, which later became the Diesco Group. Simultaneously that year, he founded with his wife Irene Cantisano, the firm Catojisa (Cantisano, Torres, Jiménez, SA).
In 2011, he was promoted to Vice President of Administration and New Business of the Diesco Group. Currently, he is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President of Projects, with the responsibility of designing, coordinating, and developing market and financial strategies for new business opportunities in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and abroad.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), and a Master’s in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting and Finance from the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico; among other programs abroad.
